Last Tuesday the Junior School visited the Buddhist Temple. We made lotus flowers and learned about the 3G's and 4G's. We were each given a gift - a bell, which was a special end to a wonderful day.
Alexandra says : "I have been practicing them Mrs Burge. The 3 G'ds are : Good deeds, Good thoughts, Good words. But Mrs Burge, you forgot about the 4G's. I have been practicing them too. Can you remember what they are?"
Alexandra says : "I like ringing the bell and making a wish. But the wish still hasn't come true." ;-) Alexandra's Mum : "Thank you so much for letting the parents come along. It was a fascinating place to visit. I really enjoyed it. I stayed for lunch at the cafe and had the best Laksa soup ever - the fish balls and BBQ pork were delicious and I would never have guessed they were made from tofu!!"
What a fantastic trip to the Temple. It was amazing to learn about a different culture. Have you been practicing the 3G's?
